Email: issues with attachments

1. On ipad3, powerpoint attachments to emails do not open correctly. All I see is a single slide with the title and nothing else. The same file opens fine on the computer. I have tried opening powerpoints directly from email and with apps such as quickoffice. None worked.

If I forward the email from the ipad3, the recipient receives the corrupt file.

2. On iPad1, I cannot forward emails with large attachments (5MB+.)

Any thoughts?
