Embedded video in Safari

I am new here on this site. Can someone give me advice on what to do or what apps to download to play video in the Safari browser. I still struggle with this, and would be glad if one of you techo's can give me a step by step advice.

Thanks in advance (maybe too straight forward for some of you, but not for me..)
