Emulation without jailbreak?

Hey everyone,

Just got myself an ipad and im just wondering, is it possible to install emulators on an ipad that is not jailbroken. I have no intention what so everyone to jailbreak my ipad, if its not possible to do it i can live with it, but woulb be great to have emulators on a factory sealed ipad.

For the most part the answer to your question is "no". There are a few emulators in the App store that come pre bundled with games but you cannot add your own collection to them. There is a C64 emulator with several games that I know of and I believe the Sega releases are running in an emulator as well. That's about as far as you can go without jailbreaking.
