I've been enjoying the app Holiday Time Machine. You choose the year and watch clips, ads, songs, and shows that were about or just near Christmas.

iPhones and iPads as ornaments? The lights controlled from an iPhone app?Everyone's dream tree!

There was a TV ad in the UK which did something like that. I think it was a tree full of mobile phones.

I thought it was the nearly gone company, Comet. A search found nothing. So, you will have to do with this ad Check out this video on YouTube:

I missed this one. There's a signpost I pass occasionally in the Mount Robson provincial park. ANCIENT FOREST. We should be able to get a tree from there that's big enough to do us proud.

We got a Xmas list from a teen shelter near work so one of the items requested of course an iPod. It's going to be a quiet holiday season this year so purchasing an inexpensive iPod and a makeup kit for someone will warm my heart. Apple products and makeup are "a couple (few) of my favorite things" to own.
