I looked at this lovely tree really hard..... Came to the conclusion that it would be truly beautiful if it was real, but I think it's Photo Shopped. Sorry!

I take it back, it is a spectacular tree. My reason for doubt was the intricacy of getting the lights to the upper extremities of the giant oak. They must have used a cherry picker!

Sorry to doubt you. ;)

I went to a Christmas banquet here a few years back

We had a mulled wine reception around the Christmas tree in the actual castle followed by a private night time tour but the best was yet to come, we then had to walk from the castle to the banqueting hall up a tree lined footpath where every tree was full of fairy lights......unfortunately I didn't get a picture nor have I ever seen one online so, you'll either have to go yourself or wait for me to go back with a camera!

Perhaps we could hold an iPF forum do there? Leeds Castle is a lovely place.

Sounds like a great idea......it was a company Christmas party and a great place to hold it. We also had a company christmas party at Chilham castle, deep snow everywhere but most of my memories of that night were frazzled by the free Meade which went down a treat!

Oh--that sound just wonderful Gabe! Some work function party you had, we usually meet up at the local water hole--paint creek tavern for a beer and a turkey burger!
