Thanks again
Oh bugger, thanks for the reply...I'll work on a plan b
It's not possible unless you have a credit card registered to an address in that country.
That's not accurate. You can google for instructions. That's how I opened a UK iTunes account without any UK credit card.
Maybe it depends on the country you're from. In the European country I'm in, it's not possible.
That's exactly how I made my iTunes accountThere are instructions on the Internet that you can google. The key step includes your first clicking on a FREE app in iTunes and buying it under your current account. Then you sign out of your current account. Then pretend to buy another free app, at which point you'll be prompted to either sign on to your existing account or create a new account. Then you select a country and create a new account. The reason for step one (buying the free app under your existing account) is apparently that will trigger the option to not enter a credit card number when you create your new iTunes account. If you skip that step, iTunes doesn't offer you the no credit card option.

Apple had it posted on their websiteThanks to all the people who figure how to get things to work and then spread word online (and thanks to Google, lol). I really doubt I would've tried to figure out such workarounds.
