External hard drive?

I swear I read that a company was offering an external hard drive connected to the iPad without the need to jailbreak the pad. Has anyone seen or remember such a device? It was in one of the many iPhone/iPad mags.

Aha! So I wasn't remembering things which were not. Thanks for the quick reply.

I do a lot of photography (Nikon raw+jpeg fine) and the files take up a lot of space.
