Sorry about the first attempt.I get headaches from then screen on iPad Air.I want to buy sufficient iPad 2s to see me out!30 years. How many.I have one and 2 new in boxes.buy more?keep the 2 spares in boxes or use them occasionally?

Do you have the screen brightness turned all the way up? That's a major cause of eye strain.

It's unlikely that the iPad or any of today's iPads will be usable online 30 years from now. The batteries wiuldnt last and the electronics would almost certainly not be able to work the Internet or communicate with any devices from that far in the future. You'll be better off regularly updating your devices every few years.

i suggest you have your eyes tested as the ipad air screen is much better on the eyes than the ipad 2 (this is common knowledge) and finally what you are requesting is totally impracticable. Go see a specialist and have your eyes tested

Thank you.I think I'm just odd.

Ok plan b have you considered having special prescription glasses that may solve your problem. ??

That's most unfortunate. Unfortunately buying a bucket load of iPad 2 's is not practical. You must understand that new technology will come along over time that may assist your medical issue. iPad 2 is obsolete and the operating system will change every year. Yes yu could keep the iOS on the current version however over time you will be restricted on what you can access due to compatible issues. Many Apps will not be able to be upgraded some will crash and on it goes. Look we are here to assist and understand your dilemma have you considered buying Apple TV and mirror the iPad to a TV screen ( high quality ) ?
