Facebook application appearing small

Hi all i bought Ipad recently n struggling with it. I installed Facebook from appstore. But the application is not occupying my entire screen, means its coming very small and giving a zoom option. Is it supposed to be like that or does it need any settings. I downloaded few other applications and they are filling the screen . Please help me with the options.

It's an iPhone app, not an iPad app. They are working on an iPad version but it's not shipping quite yet.

I use Friendly personaly, but alot of people have problems with it. It seems like there are quite a few people that just navigate to Facebook through their chosen web browser.
