Facebook chat usage for ipad

I just picked up the original iPad and need some help with a way to be able to chat on FB thru it..I saw an app thats friends with benefits that says it works thru the app...any other suggestions? thks in advance..

There will be a dedicated Facebook app for the iPad released soon - you'll have seen all the News Stories on this Forum about it, so it might be worth waiting a few days. If you've a jail broken iPad, you can get the iPad Facebook app right away.
