Facetime not working

New to this Forum and do nit know where to post this thread......there seems to be a lot of categories! I have Ipad 2. I often find that FaceTime will not connect to my WiFi.....will not ring out (saying connection lost) and will not enable others to ring me, The WiFi signal is OK and connects to Skype.

I have exactly the same problem after upgrading to IOS7.
Can't seem to find a way to fix at this stage.

This issue has been identified with Apple and currently and is being addressed. So let's see whether we will get an update to fix this shortly.

My mom got her FaceTime working. It seems when she updated her iPad to the new OS it screwed up a lot of things & my sister spoke to Apple about it they got things back to normal except FaceTime. It seems that somehow her FaceTime address got switched from me.com to iCloud.com. So it's been changed & now it's working. Hope this helps someone
