I noticed this advert for Walking Dead. It has a very good English actor on there. Forget his name but he was in a Xmas Doctor Who and was 'supposdly' another Doctor Who. Great episode. He was also in one of my Jane Austen productions. Sense and Sensibility. I'll find out his name and get back to you. He was Colonel Brandon. Great tv.
David Morissey.

Actually, two UK actors are featured in The Walking Dead.

Andrew Lincoln plays the lead character "Rick Grimes."

Lauren Cohan, who's American born but moved to the UK as a child, co-stars as Maggie Greene.
A very strong character in the program.

I don't watch a lot of TV these days (I can't stand dubbed TV shows), but I'd say that our favourite (almost) current show was 'Lost.' We recently bought and watched the whole series on Blu-Ray (man, was Hawaii ever gorgeous in HD!!!).

In the 90's it was 'The X-Files,' (we have that all on DVD) Babylon 5, ST:NG, ST: DS9).

In the 80's it was hmmmm.... a bit of a blur, due to being a professional, impoverished student with no cable...... Moonlighting, Nightcourt, probably a couple of others.

In the 70's it was 'M*A*S*H, All In The Family, probably a couple more.
In the 60's, it was Batman (gotta love that Bat Shark Repellant!).

Special mention to 'Father Ted,' which my wife introduced me to sometime back. I can watch that over and over and still almost have an accident from lol'ing so hard. :D

Ahhhh. Father Ted. I was also a late starter to that one too. Great actor. So sad he's dead now. What was his name?
Dermot Morgan. He was 45. He collapsed at a dinner party at his home and died soon after. Poor chap. No age, is it? They released the third series just after. He didn't want to be typecast like Dad's army actors. The others are still going strong. Dad's Army is another favourite with Only Fools and Horses.

Star Trek is one of my favourite shows, but has anyone seen this Star Trek spoof?

When Herschel had that heart-to-heart with Lori you just knew something horrible was lurking.

Very sad about Dermot. He was reportedly a heavy smoker....

It was a great show. A friend of my wife lives quite close to the 'Craggy Island Parish House.' so when we go to visit, we are inevitably going to make a video of us singing and playing 'My Lovely Horse' in front of it!:D

That song is still a staple at Ardal O'Hanlon's stand-up routines. :D
