I did a search for “reference” at the top level of Files app, got several results. Using “Info” on each resulting folder, I learned which project it was in, then adjusted the name to reflect that project. Next thing I know, there are two such re-named folders in my search results!
To me, this is utter insanity. Can Files app be instructed to display truth and not...I’m not sure what you’d call what I’m experiencing.
If there are two folders named ABC, I expect to be shown them. If I rename one of them to ABC-1, I expect then to see one and only one “ABC-1”
Did Apple think this through, or is it in someway a benefit to the user to...duplicate renamed files and folders in the search results?
Sanity, please! Thoughts?
