Filter and Sort funtionality for excel files?

I just started using Quick Office HD Pro, as I needed to find a better way to work with large excel files. I have found it to be better then numbers but was hoping to be able to sort and filter. It doesn't look like that is possible. Does anyone know if this type of advanced fuctionality is either available or on the horizon with this or other apps?

Some research I did a few months ago indicated that it's not possible.That type of functionality uses (I think) Visual Basic which isn't available on the iPad.
