Hello again folks... right, Find my Ipad

I have this setup except that its showing my ipad nowhere near where it is.

I'm sure the setup is correct but thinking i must be missing something.

Hope someone who can help.

Thanks

OK.. slight improvement.... new location is about 100 mtrs from my house... in someone else house... how accurate is this meant to be.??? any ideas?? Thx

Do you have a 3G or WiFi iPad? Only 3G iPads have GPS, WiFi iPads 'try' to determine their position through a database of WiFi hotspots, but it's approximate and, in rural areas, can be non-existent.

You can get a GPS add-on for your iPad if it's WiFi, though it's unlikely to be helpful for the 'Find My Pad' application.

Did you turn the location feature on in the account settings?
On the iPad.

Thanks and yes I did, however "Find my iPhone" is not listed as one of the programs in the attached list of apps that use this feature.
