I often use web pages with lots of text consequently when i want to find a para or certain text on a page, and using my PC I click ctrl and f, this brings up a search box on the top left, I click the text or para and paste it into the search box and click next this brings to to where I want to be.

SO, how do i do this with the ipad 3 using the ipad 3 keyboard.

Also I notice when I am on some web pages the copy and paste does not work, can i overcome this

Thank you
JM

Hi, and welcome to the forum. It's Good to "see" you and I hope you enjoy your visits.

I can't help you on your last question - some web sites just don't allow you to copy text. It's them and the web master's coding, not you (or the iPad).

To find items in a web page: While you are at the web page, press on the Search box (the normal one in the upper right). Your keyboard will pop-up and at the top of the keyboard you will see a search box to enter in your search term(s). Like this:

Then, after you put in the search term(s), you will get more options to advance through the number of hits found.

Hope this helps.
