Freezing when loading

Recently I have experienced my iPad freezing or locking up when loading a web page. Doesn't happen all the time, but say I am brewing a multiple page site, it can happen. My only recourse is to completely power off and power back on.
I clear the browser cache etc...frequently....suggestions?

In the frozen state, hold the Sleep/Power button until you get the "slide to power off" screen. Instead of sliding, press and hold the Home button until it kicks you out to the Home screen. Safari should work fine after this.
