yes i have four old chimney pots and smaller nice old pot,i also have a big old cast iron pig trough,i love the little sinks and setting the gratings in your decking is a fantastic way of using them,can we see a photo of the gratings?

Here is the grating next to the herb patch and sink.

that's really inventive Richard and it's good to recycle,i love reusing things like that,your garden is lovely too.
 
We use the windows to surround our carrots. They are just the right height to prevent carrot fly. We use them for propagating as well.

what a good idea,free too....when we bought the Victorian urn it was on an old stone pedestal so i'm trying to think of a way to make it look more like Terracotta,so far i've come up with masonry paint....any ideas?

How about a terra cotta coloured stucco coating? Brick powder in the stucco mix should make it look like real terra cotta.

ok,can't find the stucco here but i tracked down some Terracotta Masonry paint,going to collect it shortly and then put before and after pics on,fingers crossed it works.

thanks Andrew,i love it and i think the base will improve it even though the colour won't be a perfect match,i have some black paste patina cream that is really good for ageing down most finishes.
