Gmail contacts sync

Hi, would like to know how to sync my Gmail contacts on my iPad2. I have sync both my Gmail and mail for exchange emails, and the contacts that are sync are those of the mail for exchange.

How to do the Gmail ones or both, as I do need them.

You need to add your GMail account as an Exchange account, not the standard IMAP. Here are the instructions on how to do so.

Note, only contacts in the All Contacts group will sync, so make sure all contacts are there. No groups will sync. Active Sync does not support them.

ok tnx. will try this option soon. zi did auto sync from itunes with my gmsil account last time, but nothing happened.

Dont sync from iTunes and the GMail account at the same time. It could cause problems. Be sure to turn off any syncing you set up in the Info page on iTunes.
