Google always seems to be working at ways to improve its already impressive Gmail for mobile experience, so it’s no surprise to see a new post today on the official Gmail Blog outlining some new features designed to make your Gmail for your mobile browser experience even easier. First up we have the new ability to sign in to multiple accounts simultaneously. All you have to do to sign in to an additional account is select the account switcher at the bottom of the thread list, and then select “Sign into another account.†You can then seamlessly switch between accounts simply by clicking on them in the Accounts menu.
Next up we have the ingenious idea of a mobile-specific signature that is an easy way to let your friends and family know when you’re replying to a message on your mobile device, so that they understand if the message is a little truncated, or maybe ends abruptly, or suffers from some strange, predictive text gaffs. All you need to do is select the new Settings gears icon, choose your mobile sig, and then activate it.
And last but most definitely not least, we have the vacation auto-responder, which enables you to set up an auto-reply message for when you go away on your hols, right from your mobile device. This works exactly the same as on the desktop Gmail interface, only smaller!
