Goggle map for ipad?

Can't seem to find google map for ipad in App Store? It is there for the iPhone...but does not show up ipad when I do a search....any ideas?

Perhaps it's just optimized for iPhone.....and is compatable with ipad, but not optimized for ipad?

I believe it's only for the iPad at this point. I can't find it either.

It's currently for iPhone only, no iPad version yet. Although I'm betting the iPhone version works fine on the iPad, it just displays a smaller viewing area.

It does, I just tried it. If you tap the 2x button in the corner of the screen, the app will expand to fill the iPad screen.

When you search google map make sure you select iPhone on the tab otherwise you will not see it
