Google maps

I just updated my software, now there are dropped pins on my google maps that I didn't put there. They are mostly doctors and things. Why are they there?

Welcome to ipf,

I haven't experienced this myself, but have you tried restarting your iPad? To do this hold both the home and hold button till it restarts.
The other option will be to try update again, maybe it's just a bug.
Is your search field empty btw?
