Got the download but haven't installed yet...here's my question

I took my ipad to work to make a complete backup on another system just to be safe. I downloaded the update but didn't install it but when I went to install it, (on the backup machine) I got the following message attached.
My question is, if both systems have the identical data, apps, etc. on them, does it matter which system I install the update through? Naturally, I use and sync mostly from home but occasionally from the office and I can wait until I get home if needed.
