Half of my iPad 2 screen is not responding to touch...why?!?!?!

I recently replaced my screen and wifi antenna and now the left half of my screen is dead.....anyone have any clue as to why???

Yep most likely whoever did the repair job did it poorly.

It's possible you accidentally damaged the connector for the touchscreen when you installed it. It could also be a loose connection. In either case the iPad would likely have to be opened up again to check.

This is part of what you have to deal with when you go inside. Might was well finish the job. Don't feel bad, though, this could have happened to anyone doing inside for the first time.

Ya. I went back in....no good..lol it was a free ipad so i wasn't too worried about it...thanks for the replies
