HBO Go is one of the most used and appreciated video streaming services, with millions of iOS users from all over the world. The app has recently undergone a visual revamp and the app has become identical with the iOS-exclusive HBO Now application. And now another major update has been released by HBO.

The newest 3.0.1 version finally adds support for video playback through HDMI output, which is a feature that has been requested by many users. Thus, from now on, you will be able to cast from your iPhone or iPad the video content that you want to enjoy to a TV set by using an HDMI adapter.

You just need to have a Lightning to HDMI adapter and to be an HBO GO subscriber to enjoy this great functionality. The most recent version of HBO Go for iOS also resolves issues associated with video playback through Bluetooth audio. As usually, various bug fixes and performance improvements have been deployed, as well.

HBO GO is free with your HBO subscription through participating television providers. The app requires iOS 7.0 or later and supports streaming subtitles with AirPlay for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices running iOS 6 and Apple TVs running software update 5.1.1 or later. Follow the link from below to download the latest version if you haven't updated yet.
