Apple Maps has claimed it's first victim in the boardroom. Scott Forstall, responsible for the Apple Maps software will be leaving the company, as will John Browett, head of retail.

Following Tim Cook's apology for the Maps fiasco, the move is perhaps not surprising. Forstall will continue to serve as Cook's advisor until he leaves the company. One wonders what sort of advice Tim will be accepting.
