What's new

Hello everyone, i am new to forums.

You must do two things...enable and set up the blackberry phone to act as a wifi hotspot...connect the iPad to the hotspot once enabled.

Under the iPad settings>>>wifi, do you see the blackberry wifi network? Does it have a password? Do you know the password?

If your issue is getting help with how to enable and set up the blackberry network, you may be better off at another forum, specifically for blackberry devices.

Thank you for responding! Your info was helpful

I've just looked at a couple of Blackberry forums and the answer appears to be "No. It can't be done. The 9700 does not have the capability to act as a personal hotspot."

However, the same people who are discussing this also claim that the iPhone 4 cannot be used a a hotspot for multiple devices. As I've had my iPad 2 and two iPods simultaneously connected to the internet through my iPhone I would dispute this. Just shows you can't believe everything you read.
