What's new

Hello fellow ipaders!

Never been on a forum before but joined as a result of my broadband usage shooting up when I bought an iPad to read e-books. I believe the iPad stores your books on its memory but as it roams all the time you use up your broadband allowance whilst reading books on it. My ISP suggested to unplug the broadband hub when using the iPad as an e-book reader but as I have so many books on it just need confirmation that it doesn't need to be on the Internet just to read books?

Thanks

Vic
