hello from a new ipad2 owner - question

I plan to immerse myself in this forum to learn everything I can about this great device. I have been around the
Gadget world since the us robotics palm. Each device has their pros & cons but the ipad2 is definitely light years ahead of the pack. One big issue I have is I can't seem to find a way to inject an email message to calendar or to-do. Is this even possible? As a recent blackberry user, the apps todomatrix and rexconnect made it easy to create a task/todo/reminder on the fly and easily inject a calendar,task note etc from email. I am hopeful that this functionality exists on the iOS 5. Thoughts, ideas and suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!
