Hello from Germany!

Got myself an iPad 2 about a week ago, and since then, I'm roaming the app store and came a complete iPad fan.
Well, just wanted to leave a quick 'hello' - and if anybody has any 'must have' app tips, I'm all ears :o)

Welcome!
'Must have' apps? Mmm, there are so many for me...
Google app for iPad. Do not miss the voice search functionality. It's impressive!
Google Earth.
If you like cinema, IMDB (This is probably the best app ever from the usability perspective)
DropBox
FaceTime, which is way better than Skype and it comes with the iPad so you don't have to pick it up from the App Store.
Evernote
Wikipanion
WordReference (iPhone)
Weather forecast apps (local apps)
Transport service apps (local apps)
Radio stations (local apps)

These are my 'must have' apps.

Do you like games?

I love games! Especially online games, I'd really
Iike playing together with somebody. So far, I haven't found too many though.

I got plants vs. Zombies, some puzzle games and started trade nations, which is ok. I'd rather try an MMO though... Have any suggestions?

Thanks for your fav apps, already got some of these, yay :-)

At the moment I'm using mainly mypad for Facebook and twitterriffic for - well - twitter :p

Then I'm playing around with solar walk and starwalk - absolutely amazing, They aren't free though...

Ok, then you are definitely more into games than me. I have never played MMO games.
I have got kind of addict to Angry Birds over the past weeks, and I found out another game today that is addictive enough: Cut the rope.
I have also tried Dino Cap but it's not so cool. Have played Tetris a lot in pubs/bars and in PCs but I don't like it in the iPad.
Mr. Aahh is really cool as well.
Have also download educational games to see how ignorant I am ;)
E.g Word Cup, GeoChallenge, flags, capitals, hangman, etc.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
