Hi all
I have recently acquired a 64 gig 3g ipad 1. I intend to use it for typing the minutes for different clubs i am involved in. Some cool things i have managed to do with the ipad (which most of you have probably already done).
I have not jail brocken my ipad.
I use office2 HD and Good reader. Office allows me to export files into Goodreader which i can then use to transfer to my Imac. I use disk aid and itunes to transfer files by usb. If i know i am meeting someone i will take a flash drive with disk aid program and the ipad usb / dock cable. Pages and Numbers is a bit too limited in that aspect for my liking. These programs have helped turn my ipad into more of a laptop.
I use "my Mac" app to remote control my imac and "air display" to use my ipad as a second screen.
I want to get "air sharing" to wirelessly transfer documents and videos.
Yes i could email and use the cloud but i must admit i do not like that thought too much and besides it was fun finding alternatives.
I like "star walk" app. As well as monopoly and risk games. As for drawing i use Idesk lite and autocad.
Other apps include AVplayer and Tedd.
Anyway i hope this gives you all a good intro.
