Hello to all, I am glad to find a forum of iPad people!

I Have 3 iPads in our family, one of each series, all 64gb with 3G. Other than the obvious benefit's, my main motivation for joining iPad forum's is as follows:

We are about to take a trip from Australia to Europe (UK & France) with short 3 day stopovers in Singapore on the way there & back.Whilst all 3 of our iPads is 3G, up until now we have only ever used them within our home LAN for internet. My research to date would indicate that, in the absence of an existing data deal with an Australian carrier, my best bet will be to buy pre-paid data cards in each country as we go.

I have 2 questions; Firstly, is my assumption correct and if so, can anybody recommend a data card in these 3 locations: UK, France & Singapore?

Welcome to the iPad forums, I'm sure you'll have no problem getting the answer to your questions as there are many helpful members who would be glad to help you. Buying prepaid sim cards for each country you visit would be the way to go, as well as a way to avoid roaming charges. I haven't been to the countries you plan to visit so I have no personal recommendations as to which carrier is the best.

Yes buying a sim in the countries you visit is the way to go as far as cost is concerned as Scifan has said.....I've moved your thread to our Help Section where you will receive a better response.
