Just found this site. I've had my iPad2 for about a month now. Also have a Verizon iPhone4, an iMac and a MacBook. I switched to Apple products about 5 years ago. I'm planning on using the iPad for traveling and flying. The flying apps are what really pushed me to the iPad vs the MacBook Air. I'm currently debating getting an external GPS unit since many pilots find that the internal GPS units loses track in flight quite frequently. After that, several companies a coming out with inflight live satellite weather, probably around the summer although you can get ADS-B now but the coverage is spotty.
