Hello to all of you out there

I am a new member joining the forum just a few days ago after discovering this nifty app while scanning the web for some reviews on a couple of apps I was considering. I didn't read my welcome email suggesting that I post a hello before putting my 1.25 cents on a thread about note taking apps -- sorry about that

About me: I am a 45 year old software engineer and have owned an iPhone since the first one came out! I have been lusting for an iPad since they came out but just finally convinced my wife that we really "need" one. I am pretty sure she still doesn't believe me but I think she just finally got too annoyed from my pestering and caved -- either way I am LOVING my need absolutely required (hehehe) new toy!

Anyway, I am happy to become part of this group of friendly and helpful peeps!

Thank you for the personal welcome! The app version of this forum is among some of the first apps I discovered and installed on my new iPad and I feel lucky that I found it so soon after I became an iPad owner. You know, you may be right as my iPad approval came shortly after my wife told me she "needed" a couple pairs of boots she purchased

Way to go! FWIW I'll bet you can do a lot more with your iPad than she can with her new boots! Although footwear isn't one of the iPad's stronger qualities.
