What's new

Hello!

Help! I attempted to update my IBooks, now it is frozen on waiting. I cannot even select it. It's just on 'waiting' . Tried to reboot but this did not help.
It has been working well before this.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Regarding your issue, I noticed in your other thread that you say you went to the multi task bar and tried to access ibooks from there, go there again and long press the app until it begins to jiggle, now tap the minus sign to close it completely. Tap on iBooks where it says waiting does it then say paused? Now tap it again and it should then start loading. I see you say you've done a restart and reset. If this doesn't fix it the best thing to do would be to delete iBooks and then reinstall it. Let us know how you go.

Please do not post twice on an issue as per Forum rules, your other post has been answered also.

Hi, thank you for your response and the tips.

I tried all the above solutions and resorted to deleting IBooks and reinstalling it. Well, it deleted and on reinstalling it is stuck on 'waiting'.
I installed another app soon after and this one installed fine and is now working.
