Help needed in writing a very simple ipad app.

I have a home automation system which accepts xml requests for status and accepts xml commands to turn stuff on and off. I want a VERY simple ipad app that will allow me to have four buttons that a) interrogate remote status via xml periodically and change color depending on status plus b) when you PRESS one of the buttons, if the status is ON it will transmit an OFF command and vice versa.

Is there anyone out there who would be interested in programming this for me for a reasonable cost? What would be a reasonable cost??

It isn't too difficult to develop your own apps! Apple have made it very easy - have a look at
