Help needed please

Hi I have just bought a ipad air 2 for use with my drone it was second hand on EE IM ON VODAFONE. I asked him if he can get it unlocked of EE .He said hes asked and I believe him but my Vodafone sim still wont work its been 2 weeks they (ee) said it will take 8-10 days it was still locked they stated apple said 72 hours which ended yesterday . Is there any other way of unlocking the sim .Thanks
No, there isn’t.
Call EE using this number:
0800 956 6000 (option 2, option 4)
You’ll have to pay about £ 9 for unlocking it, and it should be unlocked within 10 days.
And here’s what you have to do then:
Apple unlock
