Help no sound

this morning everything was fine, went out to do some shopping and when i picked up my ipad this afternoon there is no sounds. None in any of the games, not typing clicks nothing, only sound in video. I reset and even did a reboot and still the same problem can anyone help

I know this sounds dumb but, I had the same issue,hard reset then I clicked the mute /lock button off lots of times turned off iPad and it worked.bizarre
