Can anyone tell me how to place a check mark or select a check box on my ipad2?

Should just be a case of touching the screen in the right place.

I think I tried every which way to "touch/hit/press/click/press" that stubborn check box & it just doesn't work! Any other suggestions?

What app/site/whatever are you trying to check a box in? It makes a difference.
