Help with skype

Hi, I have downloaded the Skype app on my ipad2 but I can't see myself when I try to video call. When I go on faceTime I can immediately see myself but not on Skype, so I know the camera is working. I'm new to all this modern technology! Lol

I'm a novice to this as well, but have you tried turning the camera around? Maybe it's facing the wrong way. The only thing is I can't remember how, but someone will come along and tell you I'm sure!

Hey, no worries....we are all new to this technology.

When you start Skype, go to "All Contacts," touch the button for the contact you want to reach. When that contact is displayed, touch the "Video" button. When the connection is made, the camera should be on.

See if that works, that is what works for me.
