Help with tethering

Recently purchased an iPad 3 want tether it to an iPhone 3GS help !!!!

Not sure tethering is available with the 3GS. If it is, you will find it in Settings/Personal Hotspot.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I have a 3GS and it does have the personal hotspot feature, but it is dependent on whether your carrier allows it or not. There is likely an extra charge for this.
