Hey im new member and am having some issues with my ipad

I bought this Ipad second hand and it still has the previous owners information on it and i cant seem to find out where to change it.
I have added my details etc but when i go to download an app it flashes with the previouse owners email and asks for their password. I dont know where i go to change this can someone please assist me.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Not sure which iPad you now own (i.e. 1 or 2) or which iOS is on the iPad - may or may not make a difference but that information may help to solve your problem?

Go into 'Settings -> General'; at the bottom should be a 'Reset' selection; press 'Erase All Content and Settings' (this is the listing on my iOS5) - this should get your back to the original factory installation - you'll then need to set the iPad up w/ your own computer installed w/ iTunes (v. 10.5 needed to load on iOS5) - let us know if this does the trick for you? If not, please explain the problem(s) and others should be able to help. Good luck!
