Hello, I am 65 year old retired guy living on a small ranch in NE Oklahoma with my wife. I have an iPad 2 for a couple of years and my wife just got an iPad Air. We just left the clunky old previous century cell phone world last month and now each have a iPhone 5s. We are still on a learning curve with these devices, most certainly compared to our grandchildren!

G'day ken, welcome to the forum! Reading your post I reckon you and your wife would not be that far behind, if at all, re your grandchildren. Oklahoma is a nice part of the world. On a small ranch?, sounds great!

Here is an idea: use your new iDevices to engage your grandkids. Start off by letting them explain stuff to you. In the meantime, you'll be reading and learning here and soon you can tell them stuff, except they won't believe you at first...but you can show them that even a young dog can learn new tricks!
