I'm new to Apple products, and have just joined this forum

I just registered in the Apple forums. I'm new to Apple, and the iPad 2 is my first Apple product.

I am a very experienced PC user. I build most of my own systems, and I write software (macros) for WordPerfect, and Quattro Pro. I have a number of PC's in my home in Boca Raton, Florida

I closed my last darkroom some years ago, and I am very involved with digital imaging. I have used Photoshop since version 2.5 or so. Presently I use CS5, and am a member of NAPP.

I am retired, and am busier now than I've ever been.

I received the iPad 2 for my last birthday, and although I've not spent that much time with it yet, it certainly is an excellent and interesting device.

I do hope to participate in the Apple iPad formus, now that I have joined there. I posted my first message today regarding using GoodReader on my iPad. I plan to spend time on the forums, learning what I can from messages that others have posted, and to expand my capabilities on my iPad 2.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
