do a search and see if it shows up or go,to settings and look for it there

Yup but i want the icon showing on the face of my ipad, not doing the search....thanks appreciate it!

Usually if you turn it off and on again they come back, it happens from time to time, get used to the search feature it helps a lot. Make sure you have not added it to a folder first you can also access it from the camera app if you get totally stuck.
