Does anyone run a home server, not a NAS network hard drive, but something windows based where you can have a couple of programs such as quicken and itunes for iPad backup? I was on a quest for a Quicken replacement that does a combination of certain things that I need and I haven't had much luck. As someone pointed out, I can't expect my iPad to do everything.
My thought just accessing my old notebook via a remote desktop app. Instead of my notebook on 24/7, maybe a small form factor pc type appliance without the need for a video card and monitor. I would direct connect to my router.
I know I can do some form of remote desktop, but can I wirelessly do an itunes connection?
Anyone do this, any recommendations on hardware?
Thanks
