How can I use iCloud w/o Safari (i.e., PC and Internet Explorer)?

I've set up iCloud with my iPad 2 and my home PC. I would like to occasionally transfer stuff from the cloud to my PC at work, but when I go to icloud.com I get a message that my browser isn't supported. I don't have admin priviledges for my work PC to install Safari and I don't want to call our IT people because I'm sure that the arguement will be that Safari is not needed for work purposes and therefore not supported.

Is there any way to work iCloud <-> IE?
