its different every time JB via website was only possible one other time. You alway have to connect the device to the computer to perform the jail breaking.

a while back it required you hacking the firmware and then loading it onto the device with several steps and not that quick but the newer jailbreaks like blackrain and spirit have been one click programs that run on the computer and jailbreak your device for you.

So is it different teams trying to hack it however they can? The one that works first then becomes the flavor of the month?
