How do you clean a stylus tip?

I have a Boxwave stylus that works beautifully on my iPad but of course I wanted to try others. So I purchased the AYL which is also a pen. It is a really nice pen and stylus although it is a bit top heavy at first, but then it seems to actually feel nice in your hand (and is a ver professional looking pen for meetings) but it just started squeaking on the screen while the Boxwave does not. I am wondering if the tip just needs to be worn in more or cleaned. Any thoughts? Any other squeakers out there?

after cleaning the screen with a screen wipe i usually clean the stylus with the same wipe. or more often if my 2 year old was playing with it.
