How Do You PRINT a Document You Have Prepared on the iPad?

So you mean that even though the printer is connected to the Airport Express, the iPad requires specific drivers for that printer? I had assumed that the Airport Express creates one common interface, so that each devices which wants to print only needs the one driver to print to the Airport Express and then the Airport Express has drivers inbuilt to support the different types of printers.

I don't think the Airport Express has any such support built in. From what I can tell, you need a printer that has Airprint support built in. There are no printer drivers for iOS per se, just printers with Airprint support built in.

There was a solution floating around the nets not long ago that used a computer on your network to handle the printing duties. The files were taken from a Beta version of Itunes. Apple removed that support before the release however and now it appears they are removing all links to those files as well. Hopefully it will be added back in the future. It's a shame because it really works quite well.
